Customer Service Representative Storer Transit Systems is currently accepting applications to fill part time Customer Service Representative positions for our office located in Modesto. Shifts start as early as 4:30 a.m. and there are shifts that end at 9:00 p.m. We will provide all necessary training for selected applicants. All employees are required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 18 years of age. Salary: $14.00/hour starting (6-step scale, top rate $18.30/hr.) Apply: Storer Transit Systems 1216 Doker Dr. Modesto, CA 95351 (209) 527-4900 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Provide great customer service: willingness to empathize · Communicate with customers over telephone and in person · Think critically for elderly, persons with disabilities, and general public members of the community, and provide them with transportation information to best suit their needs · Comprehend bus route, schedule, and policies to educate passengers · Perform clerical tasks which may include to accurately collect data, document information, and compile reports Minimum Educational Requirements: · High School graduate or equivalent
Required Experience: · Minimum one year of Customer Service experience · Computer literacy · Ability to operate office machinery including but not limited to fax, credit card device, 10-key, typewriter, etc. Preferred Qualifications: · Bilingual in English/Spanish · Excellent customer service · Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing · Think critically for callers and visitors · Problem solve · Multitask · Work independently and with initiative · Familiarity with cities/towns in Stanislaus County · Familiarity with public transportation Note: This list of essential functions and physical requirements is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary in accordance with the requirements of the job.
